Sorry haven’t posted in awhile; have been so busy! And now a new article: travel items for the modern woman! I have written an article before, Travel ideas for the girl on the go! And all under $25!! but I felt like I could write an even more updated version of travel items!
Hand Sanitizers
5 pack Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitizer, $12
Aren’t these adorable? From packing, to moving luggage while on the road, your hands are bound to get dirty. And this is great I think too if you have kids! Always have them in your bag (or share them with your friends!) & keep your hands germ free.
Portable Charger
I think everyone has one nowadays, with your cell phone, to your tablet, & again if you’re on the road you never know when you’re going to be able to find an outlet. And this one is small, lightweight & can fit in your bag! Without having to scrounge together on the airport floor at the charging stations, have one on hand fully charged & you won’t have to worry.
Portable Blanket
Cozy Fleece Blanket, $9 each, Emergency Travel Blanket, $25
Regardless of where you’re traveling, it does get cold on airplanes. Whether you like a fleece one, or 1 that comes in its own travel case, is up to you!
Portable Bottle
Vapur Foldable Water Bottle, $12-$44, 0.7 oz – 1 liter
Who doesn’t have a water bottle nowadays? I feel that it’s best to get one simple because plastic bottles don’t biodegrade. According to Forbes, human beings are now making a million bottles a minute! It’s your best bet to get your own bottle & refill it when you can. Before boarding the plane, just remember to empty the bottle. This 1 comes with a clip, so you can clip it to your purse/backpack, freezer & dishwasher friendly, comes in different sizes & colors, & you can roll it up when it’s empty! What else could you ask for in a water bottle?
Toothbrush Covers
Have you ever packed your toothbrush & worried that it might get dirty or not dry properly inside your makeup bag? With these toothbrush covers they keep your toothbrushes clean & dry!
Earphones
Betron Noise Isolating Earphones, $16
Don’t use the headphones that they give you on the airplane. And if they charge you for it, it definitely isn’t worth it. Bring your own quality noise canceling earphones for your own music/movies!
On The Go Razor
Venus Snap Cosmo Pink Women’s On The Go Razor, $8
Ever feel that your luggage is overcrowded? Now with Venus Snap Cosmo Pink Women’s On The Go Razor, you can definitely fit this tiny little razor along with the rest of your toiletries!
Manicure Kit
Miss AJ Manicure Kit, $12, Sephora Collection Tough As Nails Deluxe Manicure Kit, $20
I’m sure there are times when you were on a trip, & you had a hangnail, or just something you wanted to pluck; but didn’t have your kit on you? Now with these choices you can zip it up & bring it with you!
Detangling Hair Brush
Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer Brush, $14
Have you ever heard of a Mason Pearson brush? Expensive hairbrushes prized by the British Royal family, made with real boar bristles, that help distribute the oils in your hair as you brush it! Unfortunately Mason Pearson brushes are really expensive; they start at around $100 and go up! But fortunately for you, you don’t need to spend $100! There are lots of affordable boar bristle hairbrushes on the market! And you have 4 colors for you to choose from!
Stain Remover Stick
Tide To Go Stain Remover Pen, 3 pk, $7
I always have 1 of these in my purse! I’m horribly accident prone & this has been a life saver. And the great thing is that it doesn’t count as a liquid so it can go in your bag!
Face Exfoliator / Massager
Solo Mini, $12
Have you heard of Foreo? They have their own travel size version, of a silicone face massager/exfoliator that goes for around $50. But no need to spend that amount of money when you can get the Solo Mini instead!
Sunblock
Australian Gold Mineral SPF 50 Lotion, $16, Australian Gold Botanical Continuous Spray, $16
Perhaps you’re going to the beach, (and like me) hate greasy sunblock. Problem solved! If you prefer a lotion, or a spray on sunblock, is up to you.
Face Wipes
Yes To Tomatoes Charcoal Facial Wipes, $6
Generally I prefer to use a towel; for I feel that face wipes & cotton pads make a lot of garbage. However, I will say they are convenient for travel, or times you’re just too tired to wash your face. If you are going to get face wipes for travel, charcoal ones are great because they help detoxify the skin!
Hair Straightener/Curling Iron 2 in 1
Amovee 2 in 1 Mini Hair Straightener/Curling Iron, $27
If you’re like me, I do have several hair tools hidden away in my cabinet. Whether they’re hair dryers, hot air brushes, curling irons, the list goes on. And you can cut out a lot of the junk with a curling iron & straightener in 1! Only 10″ long, & comes with its own colorful carrying case!
Dry Shampoo
Batiste Dry Shampoo Travel Size, $3
And finally dry shampoo! Depending upon on how long your journey is, & where you are, maybe washing & drying your hair can be a real pain in the butt. Normally at home, I wash & blow dry own my hair, however, when on a trip I prefer to go to a salon. When there are times when you simply just don’t have a chance to wash your hair, carry a travel sized dry shampoo on you just in case.
