According to Lane Bryant, 67% of all women are size 14-34. I myself, have struggled with my weight, & at my largest I was a size 12. More than once I’ve heard full figured girls complain about the lack of options of shopping for their sizes. Now no more! I’m here to list options for you to shop plus sized, all on a budget!
–Lane Bryant: This seems like the ultimate go to store for plus size women. Plus they feature brands like ABS by Allen Schwartz, & Adriana Papell. And they have a wide variety of clothes, from top, jackets, dresses, shoes, & intimates! Their tops start at only $20! Catch them when they have a sale!
–Macy’s: Maybe their plus size items are hard to find in the department store, but they do have! And they have LOTS of brands for plus sizes! From Alfani, to Michael by Michael Kors, French Connection, Jessica Simpson, Laundry by Shelli Segal, & many more! I think they offer more online than they do in store. And for Macy’s always check for coupons! There is almost always a coupon floating around somewhere. Who says if you’re plus size that you can’t be chic & fashionable as well?
–Modcloth.com: Originally began as a website for dresses, they now have expanded on all types of clothing! Their specialty is more for the girl who loves vintage-inspired clothing. They offer sizes in missy & plus, & you can get $25 off if you sign up for their email! What are you waiting for?
–Zappos.com: Originally started out as a website catering to shoes; they have expanded into womenswear, menswear, & childrenswear as well! For women alone they have over 30,000 shoes! And they have almost 1,000 items for plus sizes! The brands they feature i.e. are Calvin Klein, Cosabella, Levis, DKNY, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, Steve Madden, & many more! The great thing about Zappos is that shipping & return are always free. How great is that?
–ASOS.COM: I’ve been shopping at this British based website for years & I think people have just woken up to it recently. They too, have over 1,000 items for plus sizes! There they call it ASOS Curve. There they specialize in more European labels that would carry plus sizes. They do have some pricey things, but quite often they have sales! Their tops start at $10! And despite being based in the UK, shipping & returns are free also! What are you waiting for?
–Fullbeauty.com: A website dedicated solely to all things plus size. They call themselves ‘the premier destination for sizes 12+’. They now have a campaign featuring “All About The Bass” singer Megan Trainor! They carry their own brand, as well as brands like Jessica London, ABS by Allen Schwartz, & many more! They have tops, sweaters, dresses, coats, jackets, suits, activewear, & the list goes on! They too have free shipping & returns!
–Forever21: This budget friendly, trendy store has expanded to maternity & plus sizes as well! Tops start at $15! They also have denim, pants, leggings, dresses, shorts, activewear, shoes & more! There used to be a misconception that if you were plus size you would have to spend more money on clothes than most women. Now, no more!
–Kohl’s: They have over 2,000 items for plus size women! Most of it, unfortunately, is online. So budget friendly, they have tops that start at $8!! They offer almost every garment under the sun that you could possibly need, featuring brands like Dana Buchman, Simply Vera by Vera Wang, Fila Sport, Daisy Fuentes & more!

But they have a great variety of clothes for the plus size woman! They feature brands like, Jones New York, Free People, Kenneth Cole, Nine West, & more!
–Nordstrom: For the women who would like to spend a little more on clothing, Nordstrom has branched out & with plus sizes as well!
